For over two decades now, MIDHANI has been handling challenging development tasks and has taken a lead position in indeginising several critical technologies and products to render such support to several strategic sectors of our economy.
The impressive performance of the Company has been recognized and during the year, MIDHANI was bestowed with Hon'ble Raksha Mantri's award for innovation and SCOPE Award for Excellence and Outstanding Contribution to Public Sector Management , Special Institutional (turnaround) category.
However, there are vital areas needing continued attention to sustain and improve the growth trajectory. Creating more and more value addition for Company's product, constant search & research for process and yield improvements with due interaction with other organization of repute in the filed ; efforts to identify risk factors in advance and developing strategies to counter them, strict observance of principles of "Corporate Governance " leading to good governance to enhance all stakeholders interests, are some of the vital issues being addressed by the Company. To meet the challenges posed in an information era, contemporary IT skills and technologies like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), campus-wide area network are being implemented for sharing information on real time basis by all stakeholders. The day is not far, when MIDHANI emerges as a " "National Center for Excellence" not only in extending material support but also for value added products to meet requirements of Country's strategic needs and programs of National importance.
